Zeuner invests in hybrid fleet to help keep cities cleaner while supporting business growth

Renewable heating and cooling specialist Zeuner has reinforced its commitment to sustainability by investing in two new plug-in hybrid Ford Transit Custom vans, enabling its engineers to reduce emissions when working in towns and cities while continuing to deliver projects across the UK.

The Coventry based company, which specialises in the design, installation and optimisation of ground source and renewable heating and cooling systems, has purchased the vehicles outright as part of its long term commitment to operating more sustainably and practising the environmental principles it delivers for clients every day.

The new plug-in hybrid vans will allow Zeuner's engineers to drive in electric mode during many urban journeys, helping to improve local air quality and reduce emissions in urban locations, while retaining the flexibility to travel longer distances to customer sites nationwide.

As well as their environmental credentials, the vehicles have been specified with a range of advanced safety features, including rear view mirror and reversing cameras to improve visibility when working in built-up areas, alongside additional security measures such as upgraded deadlocks to help protect specialist equipment carried by engineers.
