Walking toward greener city breaks with Tootwalk

Environmentally conscious travellers can explore London's most famous districts with Tootbus (www.tootbus.com). The planet friendly city tour provider now offers the chance to discover London's main sights with its famous guided bus tours and, new for 2023, to continue the tour of the city on foot with Tootwalk.

When it comes to making sure our city breaks are greener, almost four in every five Brits (79%) will choose a more sustainable mode of transportation while in the destination. According to research from planet friendly city tour provider, Tootbus, this willingness is consistent across age groups too. Three quarters of those aged over 50 (74% of 50 to 64 year olds and 76% of those aged 65 and over) would choose more eco friendly transport, rising to a peak of 86% in the 25 to 34 year-old age bracket.

The free Tootwalk experience is available when hopping off the bus via the ‘Tootbus – City Guide’ app. The company offers three walking tours that allow visitors to take sightseeing and thematic tours in famous districts of the capital. The guided walks encourage visitors to explore London independently and to discover the joys of walking in the capital.

Commentary is available in English, French and Spanish.

Recent research from Tootbus showed that we are more likely to consider sustainability when booking a short break than our European counterparts. Almost half of Britons (49%) say preserving the environment in their holiday destination is ‘very important’, ahead of the French and Belgians (42% and 37% respectively).

There are three guided ‘Tootwalk’ tours. The tours are designed to start near the bus stops. You can start the tour whenever you want. To start, launch the application and follow the instructions. Pick up the tour whenever you want, right where you left off:
