If you live in Kent, don’t miss the ideal opportunity to add some ‘New 2 You’ fashion items to your wardrobe on Friday 25 March 2022 at Heart of Kent Hospice’s charity fashion event.
Enjoy an entertaining evening dedicated to fashion at the Maidstone Grammar School for Girls, with all money raised going to Heart of Kent Hospice. Doors open at 6.30 pm and the show takes place between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
This is a fashion show with a difference as everything on the runway has been pre-loved and preowned. All the outfits being showcased have been put together with clothing, shoes and accessories found in the Heart of Kent Hospice charity shops.
Karen Newton-Anker, community partnerships manager, said: ‘This is a new fundraising event which focuses on extending the life of used clothing by highlighting how pre loved clothes can be regenerated, recycled and repurposed. All our models are volunteers, colleagues, or supporters. Every model supports the Hospice in some way to ensure we can continue to be there for terminally ill people in our community that need our care.’
Tickets cost £8 per person and include a free non-alcoholic welcome drink, access to the show and an opportunity to shop from the sustainable fashion rails. Plus, you will have the chance to purchase everything you see on the runway too.
Heart of Kent Hospice shops can be found at Aylesford, Borough Green, Coxheath, Headcorn, Larkfield, Lenham, Maidstone, Parkwood, Senacre, Snodland Staplehurst, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and West Malling.
