ERP UK appoints textiles sustainability specialist as EPR evolves

ERP UK has appointed textiles sustainability specialist Kavita Sarin Dass as textiles business development manager, marking the latest step in ERP UK's continued investment to strengthen support for businesses preparing for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for textiles.

Joining ERP UK at a pivotal time for the sector, Kavita will lead the organisation's engagement with producers, retailers and manufacturers, helping businesses to prepare for emerging producer responsibility requirements while identifying opportunities to embed circularity across product design, sourcing and supply chains.

Kavita brings more than two decades of international experience spanning raw materials, ethical trade, ESG, manufacturing, sourcing and retail. Having worked across global supply chains with major fashion and retail brands, including M&S, she has built expertise in responsible sourcing, ESG strategy and commercial transformation, giving her first hand insight into the practical challenges facing businesses as sustainability expectations continue to evolve.

At ERP UK, Kavita will work with organisations to determine whether they are in scope of emerging textiles EPR requirements, strengthen product and placed on market data, navigate country specific obligations and prepare for future eco fee and reporting requirements. She will also support producers to improve supply chain transparency and embed circularity into long term business strategy.
